Overview of Roles and Features
Admin Role
The admin has full access to all features of Hilti Online. The main tasks are managing users and permissions through the admin portal. All company contacts will be displayed and can be managed as follows:
- Assign or change user roles
- Create new users
- Edit user details
- Invite users to join Hilti Online (registration invitation)
- Deactivate user access
Buyer Role
Users with the Buyer role can access these features of Hilti Online:
- Create quotes and orders
- View customer-specific prices
- Full access to equipment management
- No access to the admin portal
Extended Non-Buyer / Non-Buyer Role
Extended Non-Buyer Role:
- Access digital self-services in equipment management (e.g., register and track repairs)
- Cannot create quotes or orders
- Access to equipment management (fleet equipment cannot be exchanged)
- No access to the admin portal
Non-Buyer Role:
Includes all Extended Non-Buyer features, except they do not have access to view:
- Customer-specific prices
- Fleet management costs
- Repair costs
